Official Launching of START FOUNDATION 06.09.2009

We arrived at START FOUNDATION at 6pm... I saw lots of lovely children around rehearsing their songs, performances!AWESOME! From what i saw, our future generations with different colors, cultures, races but still live as ONE!!! They are our hope for our future!! StART Foudnation is an academy dedicated to serve children of lesser privilege. All of us (Miss World Malaysia 2009) were touch by their performances and arts that heal our hearts!!! During the song sang by them(children) accommodate with Soo Wincci(Miss World Malaysia 2008), the feeling was there, tears within our eyes of happiness as they have found the right place to be, to express themselves in creativity of arts... and to find the right path to their future!Start Foundation is the first ever society that focus on a pro-bono basis, covering various expressions of visual art, music, dance and drama...I felt sparked within me, where I see children with inspirations, confidence, loved, and always willing to learn! I personally believe that we as ONE Malaysia should always give hope as we live as Malaysians! "UNITY IN DIVERSITY!

Press Conference of MWM 2009 at Sunway Resort 09.09.2009

It was 7am in the morning, I was at Sunway Resort... I was the first to reach! 10 mins later, Pris came and we were waiting for me rest of the girls! Time after time, most of girls were here and mummy was there as well (HAZEL LOKE) ha ha...She's the mother of all!! ha ha! Don't u girls agree with me? So we were all introducing each other, surprisingly all were friendly and fun! From there i see, each and every girl stands out, with they're own personality, character and charm! We spend time all together...talk talk and talk non-stop while waiting for the make-up artist and hair stylist! By 9am, we started with a briefing by Amin, he was telling us to smile in front of the camerasss... whereby there's gonna be medias all around us!After rehearsals, next we had our make-up and hair style groom by professionals, of course! They were amazing! Everyone looks stunning in every way! We took lots of photos with every girls, as memories and definitely to facebook/friendster! ha ha! Oh ya, we were touched by Ean for buying us breakfast, as he went all the way to "TA PAO" food for all beauty queens! We love u, EAN!! he he! After the press conference, photo's taken, most of the girls are called up as representatives of all to have an interview (a quick one)! WOMEN in BLACK!!!

Miss World Malaysia 2009 Interview 29.08.2009

I came to Kuala Lumpur from Penang to attend my first interview of becoming the next Miss World Malaysia 2009! I was excited in a way nervous because these judges are so so tough... believe it or not i was the first one to get in!hehe...My whole family was with me all the time during my interview to be around to support me! Oh guess what, our MC for the day is Josiah Mizukami...he is hot, cute, smart, cool and... Oopsss... wait, he's taken!! haha... Anyway, I met with a few pretty ladies who were also the contestants of Miss World Malaysia 2009, let me name a few.. Priscilia, Sarah Low,another Sarah,Sue Lynn and others...they were all so nice, friendly, and definitely gorgeous women! I also met a guy name, Yusof...who is a senior blogger to me, it was my first time meeting him, such a nice guy, who have been blogging each and every beauty pageant all the around the world! Amazing! During my interview, the judges were Amin, Dawn Jeremiah, Raymund! Fierce...Tough...(American Idol- SIMON,PAULA,RANDY)... hehe! With a whink of an eye... i had three yes'es'! That's it!! I did it! Top 20s of Miss World Malaysia 2009!
